Candle Creations is New Mexico's most unique candle-making company specializing in gel candles, soaps, and other gifts.
Our mission is to create beautiful, useful, and safe products at an affordable price. We hope to educate people on safe candle burning practices, and to teach others the joy of candle making. We also strive to provide candle makers with affordable specialty supplies.
We started making candles in 1999. At that time we were making wax candles as a hobby, hoping to make some creative gifts and keep ourselves stocked with candles since we both love to burn them.
During a vacation to Florida’s gulf coast we became fascinated with collecting seashells. We had so much fun driving up and down the coast in search of places to shell and after we came home we began experimenting with two things – gel and shells. Well, we loved the combination and we began selling our little creations.
Some people on the internet claim that gel candles burn 5 times longer than wax and our experience has been that gel candles are extra special candles because they burn very bright and clear and last 2 and sometimes 3 times longer than wax candles.
We have grown since 1999 and are now the leading New Mexico Candlemakers. Our product line has expanded and we now offer a wide selection of candles, candle accessories, hand-poured soap, and other hand crafted gifts. We have also enjoyed holding events like candle-making classes for a local girl scout troupe, our local Senior Citizen Center and hope to continue to expand our horizons and explore new ways to expose everyone to the joy of burning beautiful candles.
